Assistance

  • Gold Answers - Gold Answers is the campus IT Knowledgebase that provides assistance and solutions to resolve issues with services such as: resetting passwords, setting up PAL, connecting to the campus VPN, and email access.
  • Tech Support - Need Libraries IT assistance? Use this link to submit a service request.
  • IT Emergencies - Is the catalog down? is the Libraries website down? Are ALL of the electronic resources down? Follow these instructions.
  • Eresources Support - Is there a database down? Submit a ticket directly to Eresources for any issue related to that department.
  • Emergency Preparedness - Stay informed about campus emergency procedures and learn how to handle emergency situations.
  • Information Technology at Purdue (ITaP) - provides IT support and service to the Purdue campus which includes: campus networking (wired and wireless), central domain services, email, and calendaring. In addition, they offer software training opportunities, departmental/individual purchasing discounts on hardware and software, and free antivirus software.
  • Printer Information - This section contains manuals for all Libraries' networked printers (ITaP and Libraries-supported). Information on how to credit print quotas for faculty, staff, and students, and an FAQ with information on how to order/recycle toner cartridges, and print privately using a PIN number.
  • Wide Format (Poster) Printing in WALC or HIKS - Instructions on how to request access to Wide Format (Poster) Printing in WALC or HIKS and how to install the printers on your computer .
  • Ordering Hardware or Software - Please submit a ticket to Libraries IT if you need to request the purchase of hardware or software.

Forms

  • Aux Order - Order core office supplies and toner cartridges as well as recycle your toner cartridges.
  • Roll On/Roll Off - Supervisors, use this form to request all the IT Resources needed for your new employee.
  • Marketing and Event Request - Request assistance with Marketing Content and Event Coordination
  • Printing Services - Xerox is the current printing services partner for the campus. For large print jobs or oversized printing needs, please contact your Ariba representative to submit your print job to Xerox.
  • Technical Support Tickets - Please submit requests for IT service and support to Libraries IT through this form.
  • Wireless Access - ITaP offers a variety of wireless connection options, including guest access. This link will help you connect your mobile devices to the campus wireless or request guest wireless access for Libraries guests.
  • Student, Faculty, & Staff Printer / Copier Refund - This pdf will take you through the process of refunding printing and copier credits to Student, Faculty, and Staff accounts.
  • Guest Printer / Copier Refund - For credits for Guest printing and copying, use the link to submit a support ticket.
  • Mold Report Form - Create a ticket and notify the mold triage team of mold discovery
